New generation Grand Class turntable
Hi-Fi turntable with ΔΣ drive, a new motor drive technology that delivers high rotational accuracy and low vibration. The new motor, three-layer platter, and highly rigid chassis of the turntable deliver even better sound quality.
The SL-1300G uses a coreless direct-drive motor without an iron core. This eliminates irregular rotation of the turntable, also known as cogging. Furthermore, the dual-rotor construction reduces bearing loads while maintaining high torque. Even small vibrations during rotation are reduced. Furthermore, the SL-1300G's motor has been redesigned to eliminate subtle vibrations that can affect sound quality. To improve rigidity, the same reinforcement pattern as the Reference Class SL-1000R/SP-10R has been used for the base of the coil mount.
