AlphaTheta Euphonia – high-end rotary mixing, still unique in its class
With the introduction of the Euphonia, AlphaTheta took a notable step towards the high-end rotary segment. Although this mixer has been on the market for a while now, it remains particularly relevant today – especially for DJs aiming for a pure sound and a more natural way of mixing.
Furthermore, at Bekafun we still have limited stock (B2 & B3) available, making this an interesting time to get into this unique mixer.
A different approach to DJing
The Euphonia revolves entirely around a different way of mixing. No fast fader cuts or aggressive EQ switches, but a workflow where you let tracks slowly flow into one another. This results in a much more musical and organic set, where volume control becomes more important than correction.
What truly sets this mixer apart is how natural everything feels. The rotary faders have been specially developed with variable resistance, giving you more control during fine movements and allowing you to work faster during quick adjustments. Combined with the balanced weight distribution and grip, it feels as if you are working directly with the music rather than with a device.
Digital precision, Analog heat
Under the hood, the Euphonia combines modern digital processing with analog characteristics. Thanks to 32-bit converters and 96 kHz DSP processing, you get an extremely clear and dynamic signal, while the analog side provides the necessary warmth.
The collaboration with Rupert Neve Designs plays a key role in this. The built-in transformer on the master adds subtle harmonic saturation, giving your mix more depth and cohesion. Low frequencies become tighter, mids gain more presence, and highs remain soft and controlled. The result is a sound that leans closer to a live or studio feel than to a typical club mixer.
Control in one move
The Euphonia goes beyond classic EQ control with its 3-band master isolator, designed to musically intervene in your entire mix. Instead of purely technical correction, you use it to build up or remove energy during your set.
Additionally, the Boost Send function allows you to link effects to specific frequency bands with one hand. This makes performative mixing more intuitive and faster, without the need to perform complex operations.
Energy Visualizer – your mix at a glance
One of the Euphonia's most distinctive features is undoubtedly the Energy Visualizer. While traditional mixers are often limited to a single VU meter, the Euphonia takes a big step further by providing a visual overview of your entire mix.
Each channel has its own level indicator, allowing you to immediately see the balance between your tracks. This makes it much easier to fine-tune subtle blends perfectly, without having to constantly rely on your ears alone.
Additionally, the mixer features a built-in spectrum analyzer on the master output, allowing you to monitor the frequency range of your entire mix. You literally see how your low-end, mids, and highs behave during your set. This helps you stay consistent and prevents your mix from sounding too heavy, too sharp, or too empty.
In practice, this means that you not only hear what you are doing but can also “read” it. This provides enormous added value, especially during longer sets or complex transitions, as it allows you to anticipate and adjust more quickly. It is a modern addition that complements the classic rotary philosophy perfectly.
