Sprolink SC-PTZ-20X-NDI: PTZ camera with NDI, SDI and 20x zoom
08-06-26
Sprolink is a brand specializing in the development of advanced video technologies, including video mixers, matrix switches, and PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) cameras.
The Sprolink SC-PTZ-20X-NDI is a Full HD PTZ camera that combines video, audio, control and power over a single network cable. Now in stock at Bekafun.
What is NDI?
NDI (Network Device Interface) is a protocol developed by NewTek that allows high-quality video signals to be transmitted over a standard IP network. Instead of running dedicated video cabling, you use the existing network infrastructure. An NDI camera appears automatically on the network and is immediately available in compatible software such as vMix, OBS or hardware switchers that support NDI. Latency is low enough for live productions.
The SC-PTZ-20X-NDI uses NDI|HX, the compressed variant of NDI. It requires less bandwidth than full NDI, making it suitable for installations where multiple cameras share the same network.
Outputs
The camera has four simultaneous video outputs: NDI|HX over the network, HDMI, 3G-SDI and USB 3.0. This makes it compatible with traditional SDI switchers and modern IP workflows at the same time. No trade-off required.
Zoom and optics
With 20x optical zoom, the camera covers a range from 54.7° (wide angle) to 3.3° (tele). That is sufficient for medium to large spaces such as meeting rooms, auditoriums or churches. The Sony CMOS sensor performs down to 0.5 lux at F1.8 with AGC on.
Installation
PoE (802.3af) means the camera is powered via the network cable, with no separate power supply needed at the camera end. One cable handles both data and power. Control is via RS232, RS485 or VISCA over IP. Up to 255 presets can be programmed.
The camera suits fixed installations where multiple camera positions are managed from a single location: hybrid meeting rooms, live event streaming, IMAG setups and in-house production environments.
