New at Bekafun: Dateq SPL-D3MK2 sound level meter in a flight case, ready to go

Running a party, concert or event and need to keep an eye on sound levels? We have what you need. Bekafun has the Dateq SPL-D3MK2 in stock, built into a sturdy flight case. Take it out, put it on a stand, and it starts measuring.

Why a flight case?

We've put everything you need into one rugged case:

 • The measurement microphone is built into the flight case. No loose cables, nothing gets lost.
 • A 35 mm pole mount lets you put the meter on a standard speaker stand, clearly visible to the DJ or engineer.
 • A powerCON power cable is included.

That makes it ideal for rental companies, PA companies and municipal equipment-lending services. The meter travels a lot and has to work every single time.

What does the SPL-D3MK2 do?

 • Easy to read, even from a distance. Large digits that change colour: green means fine, orange means careful, red means too loud.
 • Adapts to the light. In a dark venue, the display dims automatically.
 • Measures by the rules. It measures according to the international IEC 61672-1 Class 2 standard. It complies with the Flemish VLAREM II regulations (categories 1, 2 and 3) and with the French rules on amplified sound (Décret 2017-1244 and NF S 31-122-1). It measures in dB(A), dB(C) or dB-flat, with LAeq and LCeq over an adjustable time.
 • Keeps a record. Measurements are stored internally. Use the USB port to copy them to a USB stick (FAT32). The stick is not included.
 • Flexible settings. The Windows software lets you set thresholds, brightness and sensitivity. The calendar function allows different sound levels at different times of the day or week.
 • Theatre mode. The display stays off as long as everything is fine. It only switches on when the level is about to get too high.
 • Expandable. Use it on its own or together with a Dateq SPL5MK2 or SPL6 limiter. Optionally, add an extra display (SPL-EXT) or an SRL-1 relay, for example for a warning light at the DJ booth.
