The SUB 8008-AS is a double 18” high power active subwoofer for live bands, DJs, Clubs, and Rental Companies, built specifically for demanding live sound applications with deep, powerful bass response. It employs a state-of-the-art transducer featuring a high-power ceramic magnetic circuit with a 4” voice coil. The power amplifier manages extreme currents up to 4400W delivering sound pressure levels up to 137 dB with exceptional headroom. Rear panel controls include 12 presets, crossover frequency, polarity switch, Deep/Punch selection, cardioid, and output delay settings.

NX 985-A is perfectly capable to reproduce high-fidelity full-range sound without a subwoofer, but it stands out when paired with SUB 8008-AS for high-impact live music reinforcement applications. The rugged, high-quality all-wood cabinets are easy to carry, with ergonomic handles on each side. Separate housing for the amplifier guarantees component efficiency and reliability. NX 985-A can be coupled for improved coverage and can also be flown or truss-mounted using the M10 rigging points. Due to the frontal vented ports, the SUB 8008-AS can also be installed in recessed spaces. From the cabinet to the final texture and the rugged protective grille, both speakers offers maximum strength for intensive use on the road and can be used for fixed installation.
