Rodec is a Belgian brand that has been established where there are dedicated DJ-mixers in audio products, analog circuits in full size. De naam Rodec is an afkorting van “ROland DEClerck,” de oprichter van het bedrijf.

Then you can use the Rodec terug, but on the other hand, the new MX Modular is a 16-channel modular version that can be used for the same reasons.
If there are 8 channels of studio music for you to mix and match with 4 channels of DJ mixer with high phono inputs of any combination you need? Het kan allemaal!

It must be said that the sound quality of this is on a completely different level, the table is therefore extremely suitable for studio and live use or for the true lover of excellent sound. Come and test it with us and you will immediately understand what we mean.

In addition to the MX Modular, they also have a separate preamp that fits between any turntable and preamplifier!

You can buy the MX Modular as an empty frame where you can insert the modules of your choice or as a pre-configured setup as a DJ mixer, studio mixer or a mix of both.

With every pre-made setup you always have a slot free for 2 '500 series modules' or 4 '100 series modules'. In other words, you can add your favorite bus compressor, effect or EQ from another brand that makes 500 series modules or just extra modules from the Rodec series.

The standard Rodec modules are the M101 phono preamplifier, M108 line preamplifier, M102 stereo equalizer, M104 stereo dynamic filter and M-501 channel strip. A Sherman filter module will be added soon!

You have a standard double on-board FX unit that is controlled by the two AUX sends per channel, these contain high-quality Reverb, Delay and Modulation and you can save your own pre-made settings in them. Additionally, you can route each channel to two separate busses that you can then route through an insert module (e.g. bus compression on an extra slot or FX on an external unit). Each channel also contains handy mute and solo buttons that are super handy in live use, you can also create presets here to quickly mute or solo a collection of channels with 1 press of a preset button.

The MX-180 was Rodec’s flagship for over 30 years. They recreated the phono/line preamp in a 100-series module, so it could be used in the MX Modular and as one of the two slots in the Bunk 01.

But they went one step further: we added a second discrete phono stage that offers a deeper, more relaxed sound, complementing the more festive original Rodec stage. You can switch between the two phono stages with a simple push of a button.

They also added the option to push an extra +20dB of gain, to get lower sound levels at the same level. You can also keep the original 0dB attenuator by adjusting a dipswitch on the board.
