Sennheiser Profile Wireless

The demand for professional yet accessible audio tools for content creators continues to grow. Whether you’re vlogging, livestreaming, recording interviews or working in hybrid work environments—clear voice and a reliable wireless connection are essential. Sennheiser meets these needs perfectly with the Profile Wireless series. The new 1-channel set and the already available 2-channel version offer a nice mix of flexibility, sound quality and ease of use, packed in a sleek and modern design. Ideal for creators who want to record professionally without technical hassle.

Profile Wireless 1-Channel

The 1-channel set is ideal for solo creators looking for a portable and reliable wireless system. It’s a compact and easy-to-use package that surprisingly packs a lot into it. Everything comes neatly packaged in a soft carry case, so you can get started right away—wherever you are.

What's in the box?

  • 1 x Clip-on Microphone with Built-in Transmitter
  • 1 x 2-Channel Receiver
  • 1 x USB-C to USB-C Cable
  • 1 x USB-C to Lightning Adapter
  • 1 x 3.5mm TRS to TRS Cable
  • 1 x Cold-Shoe Adapter
  • 1 x Soft Case

Receiver

Setup is quick and easy. The transmitter and receiver connect automatically as soon as you turn them on—no apps or settings to fiddle with. The receiver features a bright OLED display that gives you at-a-glance info on battery status, recording, channel, and signal strength. A built-in gyro sensor means the screen automatically rotates depending on how you mount it—ideal for camera, tripod, or gimbal mounting.

What makes this set truly unique is the built-in 32-bit float recording function. This allows you to capture an extremely wide dynamic range, allowing you to easily correct overdriven or too quiet fragments in post-production. The transmitter itself has 16 GB of internal memory, good for around 30 hours of local audio recording. And in terms of compatibility, you're all set: you can effortlessly connect the receiver to smartphones and laptops via USB-C or Lightning, or to cameras via the 3.5 mm jack.

The battery lasts around seven hours per component—more than enough for a full working day. And if you want to expand later, simply add a second transmitter to expand the system to a full-fledged 2-channel set.

Profile Wireless 2-Channel

For those working with multiple speakers, the 2-channel set offers a more complete solution. This set is designed for interviews, podcasts, presentations or other formats where two speech sources are recorded simultaneously. What immediately stands out is the multifunctional "charging bar" - a clever docking station that not only charges the transmitters, but also serves as a handheld microphone.

What's in the box?

  • 2 x Clip-on Microphones with Built-in Transmitter
  • 1 x 2-Channel Receiver
  • 1 x Multifunctional Charging Bar
  • 1 x USB-C Cable
  • 1 x USB-C to Lightning Adapter
  • 1 x 3.5mm TRS to TRS Cable
  • 1 x Cold-Shoe Adapter
  • 1 x Soft Case
Charging bar

Charging bar

The charging bar is a key benefit for those who often work on the go or need to record in changing settings. Not only does it charge both transmitters simultaneously, but thanks to an optional microphone head it can also be used as a handheld solution. The internal battery also provides reserve power – useful during long shooting days.

Zender & Ontvanger

As with the 1-channel set, each transmitter supports 32-bit float recording and has internal backup storage. These backups can be automatically activated in the event of a signal loss, and there is also a safety track available: a second track that is recorded at a lower gain to avoid clipping. The receiver itself offers additional functionalities such as a headphone output for monitoring and a touchscreen OLED display that rotates with positioning. Lockable TRS connections and various mounting options ensure reliable use in a variety of working environments.

The system does not disappoint in terms of battery life either: each transmitter operates for approximately 7 hours on a single charge, while the charging bar can provide up to 15 hours of additional power. This makes the total autonomy more than sufficient for day recordings or live applications.

Which set is right for you?

The choice between the 1-channel and 2-channel set depends mainly on your workflow. For solo creators who want to record quickly without hassle, the 1-channel version is ideal: small, powerful and future-proof thanks to expandability. If you work with multiple voices or formats in which you often switch between interview and presentation, the 2-channel set is the most complete package. With extra monitoring, battery capacity and the option to use the charging bar as a microphone, this system offers an all-in-one solution for demanding recordings.
