For the city of Roeselare, Bekafun was asked to create a unique custom DJ furniture, specifically designed for use in the Trax hall. The goal was clear: simplicity, ease of use and plug & play. A complete audio and lighting solution that can be used with minimal effort and maximum reliability.
Audio installation
Xilica XP-3060
To ensure optimum sound quality and reliability, all audio signals are carefully managed by a Xilica XP-3060 processor. This digital speaker processor ensures perfect tuning and offers extensive possibilities for EQ, crossover and dynamic control, resulting in crystal clear sound.

RCF NX12-SMA
For the DJ, two powerful NX12-SMA monitors from RCF are provided. These active monitors deliver exceptional audio quality and are specially designed to provide a clear and balanced reproduction.
DJ equipment
The heart of the DJ furniture consists of Pioneer equipment: two CDJ-3000 and a Pioneer DJM-A9 mixer. In addition, there is also thought of vinyl lovers, with two Technics SL-1210 MK7 equipped with 2x an Ortofon Mix cartridge + stylus.
Shure SM58
A Shure SM58 microphone completes the set. Thanks to its effective feedback suppression and excellent intelligibility, the SM58 is the standard choice for speech reinforcement at events.
Light control with Wolfmix
For the lighting, a Wolfmix was chosen, popular for its ease of use. The Wolfmix controller offers presets and simple pads for colours, positions and special effects such as strobes and blinders. This allows anyone without technical knowledge to immediately create an impressive light show.
The existing lighting in the Trax room was reused and provided with clear labels and addresses, making the installation easy to use with both the existing Chamsys desk and the new Wolfmix controller.
Custom DJ furniture
The specially designed DJ furniture is completely custom made with attention to detail and ease of use. All connections are pre-wired, allowing the complete audio system to be easily connected via only four cables and a few power cables. Both the speakers and monitors can be quickly connected thanks to carefully labeled connection points.
