Meet the CDJ-1500X

The CDJ-1500X has everything that makes DJ players popular in bars and other venues. He gives you the flexibility of
separate players, while you can also combine it with all kinds of other equipment, including turntables and your
favorite mixer, to create your ideal set-up. In addition, it is packed with professional features and
it inherits the high quality and user-friendliness of the flagship CDJ-3000X.

The CDJ-1500X was designed with compact DJ booths in mind: ideal for bars, small clubs, and home setups. Although it includes many key features of the flagship, the CDJ-3000X, this new multiplayer takes up significantly less space. This allows it to fit easily into smaller rooms and enables you to easily combine it with turntables and other equipment to create a custom setup.

The CDJ-1500X features the 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen from the flagship CDJ-3000X,

allowing you to quickly select tracks and perform intuitively.

The browse screen displays up to 15 tracks at a time, so you can see more music in one list and quickly find your next track. And because the waveform preview gives you insight into the structure of the music at a glance, you can easily choose tracks that fit the flow of your set.

The main waveform view now also includes visual indicators for vocal moments, BPM changes, and phrase structures. This gives you a better understanding of the structure of each track so you can make decisions about mixing during your sets with more confidence.

With Playlist Edit, you can rearrange tracks in your playlists directly on the CDJ – no more switching back and forth between your player and your laptop/mobile device, or exporting tracks to your USB stick. With the choice between a dark and light display mode, the information on the screen always remains clearly visible,

wherever you play – from dimly lit DJ booths in clubs to bright rooms or even outdoor events in full daylight.

With CloudDirectPlay, the CDJ-1500X gives you direct access to your rekordbox library in the cloud as well as millions of tracks from streaming services. Thanks to built-in Wi-Fi, you can play your tracks via rekordbox CloudDirectPlay, but also from platforms like Apple Music, Beatport Streaming, and Tidal when using the StreamingDirectPlay feature. Via NFC Touch Login, you get direct access to your personal settings and playlists by tapping the CDJ with your mobile device—with rekordbox for iOS/Android installed on it. Combined with cloud connectivity, this means you can arrive at a gig with just your smartphone and immediately start playing from your own music library.

Looking for more interaction with your audience? Want to get the dance floor partying as one? The CDJ1500X is AlphaTheta's first multiplayer compatible with the new CoBeat service, which helps you involve your audience more actively in your performance.

By scanning a QR code (which you or the event venue have created in advance), CoBeat gives the audience the opportunity to view a catalog of tracks you have selected. They can vote for songs you should play or send a message to request other songs. All that information comes together on the CDJ-1500X, where song requests appear on the browse screen, ready to be incorporated into your set to create a shared experience with the audience. People in your audience can also add emojis to each other's requests to share the energy of the dance floor live. All those reactions appear as pop-ups on your smartphone screen, allowing you to better sense how the audience is reacting while you're DJing. You can enable or disable CoBeat as desired if you want to allow requests or prefer to focus on your own mix.

With its minimalist user interface and matte black finish, the CDJ-1500X blends seamlessly into any setup or room. On the front, a backlit bay with 2 USB ports (1 x Type C, 1 x Type A) ensures that you can easily and safely connect USB sticks, so they don't accidentally come loose while DJing or when the booth is busy. For the LED lighting, you have a choice of 12 colors: so there is always one that matches the atmosphere of your set. And thanks to the screw holes on the sides of the multiplayer, you can add optional panels to customize the look of your CDJs with different colors and materials.
