Par spot
With their durable construction and high light output, they provide an efficient and versatile solution for various applications.
In this article, we explain what a PAR light is and the differences between PAR16, PAR20, PAR56, and PAR64 models.
What is a PAR Light?
A PAR light has a parabolic reflector inside that focuses light into a directional beam. This makes it ideal for stage performances, concerts, and theatrical lighting. Traditionally, these lights used halogen bulbs, but today, LED PAR lights are widely used due to their energy efficiency and long lifespan.
PAR lights come in various sizes, indicated by a number (e.g., PAR16, PAR56, etc.), which corresponds to the diameter of the lamp in 1/8 inches.
Differences Between PAR16, PAR20, PAR56, and PAR64
1. PAR16 – Compact and Precise
Diameter: ≈ 50 mm (2 inches)
