The PB-08 is a microphone gate with a build in position and acceleration sensor. The Optogate PB-09 is our new automatic microphone gate unit, implemented in a table stand. The PB-09 contains a mic on button what can be used as "push to talk" or "mic latch" switch. These different functions are user programmable with 3 dip switches. The PB-09 contains also a galvanically separated trigger input for the mic control. The switching noise is not measureable.

This is a two-component kit consisting of a phantom-powered "transmitter", built in to a XLR connector and a battery-powered "receiver". Used on its own, the transmitter can check the integrity of the cabling to the mixer. If the cable is undamaged and all three wires are connected, a direct tone is sent to mixer. Most power distribution boxes on the market are usually not equipped with a power line monitor system so can not indicate and switch off overvoltage's. A solution to these problems is the Varibox V3.
