Extenders

These devices allow video and audio signals to be transmitted over greater distances than standard cables allow, making them ideal for professional AV installations, conference rooms, digital displays, and control rooms.

HDMI Extenders

HDMI extenders are designed to transmit digital video and audio signals over long distances without quality loss. Since standard HDMI cables are limited in length (usually around 10-15 meters), HDMI extenders use alternative transmission methods such as:

CAT5e/6/7 network cables – Extends HDMI signals up to 100 meters.

Fiber optics – Ideal for very long distances (hundreds of meters) with maximum image quality and no signal degradation.

Wireless HDMI extenders – Use radio waves to transmit HDMI signals without cables, ideal for situations where wiring is impractical.

Applications:

Connecting an AV source (laptop, media player, gaming console) to a display in a different location.

Presentation rooms, trade shows, and digital advertising where long HDMI cables are impractical.

DVI Extenders

DVI extenders work similarly to HDMI extenders but are designed specifically for digital video signals without audio. DVI is commonly used in professional environments, such as:

Graphic design and medical imaging, where high resolution and precise color accuracy are required.

Industrial and control rooms, where screens are located at a greater distance from the computer.

DVI extenders use CAT cables, fiber optics, or wireless transmission to minimize signal loss.

VGA Extenders

VGA extenders are designed to transmit analog video signals over long distances. Although VGA technology is gradually being replaced by digital standards, it is still used in older installations, such as:

Schools and universities, where older projectors and screens have VGA inputs.

Industrial applications and security systems, where VGA remains in use.

VGA extenders rely on CAT5/6 or fiber optics, as standard VGA cables quickly lose signal quality over long distances.
