Ensure the safety of your audience by using Admirals-certified safety cables! Are you suspending fixtures, light fixtures, moving heads, speakers, or other staging equipment above a crowd? Then you must use an independent secondary safety device in accordance with BGV-C1 and VGB regulations. Our safety cables are BGV-C1 certified and can be used as single- or double-stranded cables to support and secure their loads.
Did you know that safety cables with carabiners cannot be certified because the carabiner can break or open if the equipment falls? Admiral's safety cables are all steel cable constructions, pressed with standard aluminum ferrules and fitted with a thimble at both ends. The special safety quick-release connector for attaching the safety cable is certified, making these Admiral safety cables an indispensable safety feature!
Lightweight cables
Admiral safety cables should be installed in a loop and as short as possible so that if the load falls, the safety cable is in the best position to absorb the weight. When installing static equipment, the maximum drop height, in the event of a fall, should not exceed 20 cm. Keep in mind that the maximum drop height when using moving equipment is much lower, only 5 cm. Always keep these safety precautions in mind when installing your staging equipment.
Whether you're using them to attach barn doors to your fixtures or want to quickly adjust the height of a microphone, our lightweight RIVKAL60 cable is exactly what you need. This 60cm-long, black cable features a carabiner with an extra locking mechanism that provides extra security when objects fall.
These lightweight cables cannot be used as an independent, secondary safety device according to BGV-C1 and VGB regulations, but they are brilliant for use with luminaire accessories and other lightweight items. Do you need secondary protection to protect your luminaires or other staging equipment? Then we recommend our certified RIVKAN36 and RIVKAN36B (black version) safety cables.
Clamps
One of the product ranges Admiral Staging is proud of is our range of clamps and semi-couplers. We offer a wide variety of high quality clamps to meet your needs. Most of our clamps have TÜV certification.
Keder clamp
Our Shark clamp is a clever and versatile solution for quickly and firmly mounting your equipment onto keder profiles of all sizes. Due to its innovative design, the clamp supports weights of up to 200kg and ensures the load is always centric, regardless of the profile width. Due to the spring loaded clamp, the Shark can be secured into place in no time, unlike conventional tent clamps which require extra adjustment steps to fit different beam widths.
C-Clamp
Our so-called C-clamps are recognized worldwide for their high quality and intuitive design. A metal spring in our clamps prevents scratches on your truss. Admiral C-clamps are available in galvanized steel and chemically blackened steel.
These versions also come in black!
G-Clamp
Our G-clamps are recognized worldwide for their exceptional quality and ease of use. A metal spring in our clamps prevents scratches on your truss. Admiral G-clamps are available in galvanized steel and chemically blackened steel.
Couplings
Swivel couplings
The Admiral swivel joint allows you to mount two tubes at any angle. A good example of this joint's use is to reinforce a truss with an additional tube. Connecting the joints is much faster and easier than simply twisting the bracket around the tube and tightening it with a butterfly nut. Admiral Staging offers these swivel joints in two different sizes: 30 mm and 50 mm thick. They are also available in two different styles: aluminum and black anodized aluminum.
Self-Locking Couplings
The self-locking coupling is a product that lives up to its name. This excellent coupling is a suspension hook that can be placed around a pipe. After a product is hung on a rod or pipe, the product weight is transferred directly to the pipe. Tightening the bracket creates a highly tension-resistant connection. A bolt, washer, and butterfly nut are included.
Half couplings
The self-locking coupling lives up to its name. This excellent coupling is a suspension hook that can be placed around a pipe. After a product is hung on a rod or pipe, the weight of the product is transferred directly to the pipe. Tightening the bracket creates a highly tension-resistant connection. A bolt, washer, and butterfly nut are included.
Quick couplings
The name of the quick coupling tells you all you need to know. This suspension hook is quick to install on a pipe. After a product is hung on a rod or pipe, the product weight is immediately transferred to the pipe. Tightening the bracket creates a highly tension-resistant connection. A bolt, washer, and butterfly nut are included.
Half couplers with lifting eye
Our range of Admiral half couplers would not be complete without the special half coupler with lifting eye. The couplers M10 ring bolt is used for lifting loads via, for instance, soft steels, ropes or cables. These TÜV certified half couplers with lifting eye have a WLL of 200 kg and are available in anodized grey (silver) and black.
QWIQR
We call this item the QWIQR (read: quicker) for a very good reason. That's because this clamp is fast. With the QWIQR, you can connect your hooks to a fixture with just one click.
You'll actually hear not one click, but two. Two separate locking switches ensure the most secure lock possible. Two outward-facing indicators indicate that the product is properly double-locked and no further attention is required. The clamping section is now secured by two individual locks. Furthermore, the clamping section is spring-loaded to prevent any play. It's that simple!
Disassembling the components is even faster. Push the clamping section into the housing, press both locking switches, and slide the hook outward. The Qwiqr is a further development of the well-known slide, and all components are compatible for use.
